Through the living room to the left is the dining room. A graceful chandelier hangs over the polished mesquite table which can seat up to 8. A small fireplace niche and deep-recessed window seat are on one side of the room and a series of cupboards line the other side, showing off a collection of folkart sculptures and other Mexican décor. The dining room is separated from the kitchen by a low wall, about 7 feet high, making a perfect setting for entertaining or private romantic dinners

Step out onto the patio. Flowering vines, plants and greenery arched over a recessed niche make this a perfect spot for al fresco dining at the handsome wrought iron table which seats 6 or 8. French doors open onto the first floor bedroom suite across the patio. This bedroom contains comfortable twin beds facing a fireplace. Lots of cupboard and closet space hide behind louvered doors. Adjoining the bedroom is the charmingly tiled bath with deep tub and shower. Another door takes you to the sitting room of this suite, with comfortable couch and chairs, bookshelves, cable television and desk for internet access.

The compact kitchen is bright and sunny and faces onto the interior patio. It is fully equipped with stove, frig, new microwave and toaster oven, coffee pot, dishes, utensils, pots and pans - everything you need for ease of cooking and entertaining. Juana is your housekeeper/maid and keeps everything humming along and tidy, four days a week.

Two steps up from the second story suite and you are on the walkway to the roof terrace - where you can relax and enjoy San Miguel's fabulous views of La Parroquia and the distant blue hills and mountains.
